Moxyland Short-Story Competition Announced
brainwavez.org News Posted: 11 August 2009 Web sites The Bookseller and Voyager Online have announced the Moxyland contest that Lauren Beukes alluded to in her interview with brainwavez.org last month [ read it here ].To enter you need to set your story in the Moxyland universe. To help, the book is being made available at HarperCollins' Authonomy web site for free (for a limited time), where you can read it online. We, of course, would recommend you buy it in the long run but time is of the essence for this competition as the winners are being announced in September! Further details are expected to follow. Keep an eye on the Angry Robot Books web site for details. We will also post a follow-up notice at brainwavez.org. Additionally, there are no country-specific entry requirements, which means that South Africans (as well as everyone else) can enter. Get writing! Moxyland was originally released in South Africa in April 2008 by Jacana and can be bought at Kalahari.net.
