Animation

Mini-recreations of a couple of logos that I recreated from print material and then animated for use in multimedia presentations while at college in 1997. (Back then being able to do this was a big deal, in case you're wondering why this page even exists. I also keep this page here to remind myself that I must create at least one proper animated short before I die.)

Banners and Buttons

Banner and button ads that I created while working for SA Computer Magazine. Most advertise the SACM web site, sections of the site, or products that were available for sale at the site's store. I have now also started making banners for brainwavez.org.

Traditional Art

Writing

For just over five years I wrote for (the original) SA Computer Magazine each month, reviewing hardware, software, and PlayStation and PC games. I have also had a few features reprinted in Singapore Computer Magazine. Since 2001 I have contributed to a number of books, published by Corporate Research Foundation, which profile South African businesses. Recently I have focussed more on copy editing, but have contributed articles to Woman's Value, Home, Cosmopolitan South Africa and Musica's magazine Pulse. In 2007 I started writing a monthly gadgets page for Cosmopolitan, and I write continuously for my own web site, brainwavez.org.
