Bitterkomix No 17, which debuted at FanCon 2016, is being launched at The Book Lounge on 26 May. Anton Kannemeyer and Conrad Botes will be in conversation with Ashraf Jamal.

The new volume was recently published by Isotrope Comics and XLibris, bringing it back to its independent roots, and includes both comics and essays from contributors such as Joe Daly, Gerhard Human, Kitty Skuimwyn, Daniël du Plessis, Karlien de Villiers, Ryk Hattingh, Breyten Breytenbach, Michel Houellebecq, Tina Vasmaak, and Tienie du Plessis.
