Expo: EGE (Electronics & Gaming Expo) 2017, Cape TownThe third EGE is once again taking place in Cape Town in July at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. While the focus is on gaming Readers Den Comic Shop will be at the event to promote comics and geek culture. The team behind Siri Watu: Descendants Of Africa will also be at the event, at stand CC9.

Previous EGEs have also had artists' alleys. The one in 2015 was moderately successful but the one in 2016 was not so it's unlikely that there will be one this year. Should that change, this page will be updated to reflect the new information.

• Where: Exhibition Halls 1 and 2, CTICC (Cape Town International Convention Centre), Convention Square, 1 Lower Long Street, Foreshore, Cape Town, South Africa

• The ticket prices exclude CTICC parking costs.
• The daily closing times were unconfirmed as the web site says one thing and Computicket says something else but they are now confirmed.
