Sunday Edition is a new eight-event initiative taking place at The Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock, Cape Town, that will combine music, food, and underground publishing. Of note for South African comics fans is the inclusion of zines, which will be for sale at each of the events.

Festival: Sunday Edition #2 - November 2017, Cape Town

More details on the first event: "Sunday Edition's second line-up for the season presents the explosive live show that is BCUC - freshly returned and victorious from their European tour, the freedom fighters of indigenous funk take the stage for their first show in Cape Town this year. Future-soul sisters Kajama weave their sonic spells across the afternoon, whilst grooving sets are performed by DJ Fred Spider, DJ Mighty and the Endless Daze DJs.

"Visual artist Fuzzy Slippers paints a surreal landscape and urges you to explore modes of being, whilst Cape Town's pioneering street artists, zine-makers, illustrators and vinyl-record merchants present their best.

"The Neighbourgoods Designer market features the most exciting local streetwear labels and vintage stores, and a handpicked selection of Cape Town's finest food trucks and hole-in-the-wall restaurateurs serve it up to the hungry crowds.

"Beers and cocktails served all day from multiple bars, with the Aperol Spritz bar mixing the crispest spritz you’re likely to taste this side of the equator."
