Open Art Cape Town is holding one of its regular Drink And Draw evening events at the Woodstock Brewery Taproom Observatory, which is in Observatory (it's not the Woodstock branch).

While it's not specifically a South African comics event it is organised by local comics creators and you can always find some of them in attendance.

The event is free and open to anyone who wants to participate. Take along some sketching implements and sheets of paper or a notebook and use the opportunity to socialise and get advice on improving your art.

Please Note: There will probably be space in the restaurant but if you wish to guarantee a spot you need to contact Open Art Cape Town's Rowan Govender, who has booked 10 spots specifically for the meetup, so he can add your name to the list. If you don't have his email contact details you can get hold of him via the Open Art Cape Town Facebook page.
